Martin Lehn, MD
Dr. Lehn is board certified in pediatric cardiology and in pediatric and adolescent medicine. He ist also a certified specialist for the management of adults with congenital heart defects. He received his medical degree at the University of Gießen, Germany in 1985.

Part of his medical training he spent at the Harvard University Medical School, Boston, the Boston University, and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. After his medical training he worked as an emergency room physician at the 97th US-General Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. He then went to Boston with his wife to become a fellow in medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard Medical School, Boston from 1986 through 1990. He completed his pediatric residency and his fellowship of pediatric cardiology at the University of Bonn, Children’s Medical Center, Germany. In 2000, he joined the Cardiology Associates of Dortmund with his own private practice. Dr. Lehn lives in the Dortmund area with his wife and has two children.

Prof. Deniz Kececioglu, MD, PhD
Prof. Kececioglu is board certified in pediatric cardiology and in pediatric and adolescent medicine. He is also a certified specialist for the management of adults with congenital heart defects. He joined our clinic in January 2019 after his retirement as chief of pediatric cardiology at one of the leading heart centers in Germany: Bad Oeynhausen. He is an expert in outpatient and consulting pediatric cardiology and has more than 30 years' experience..

He has held various academic appointments over the years, including chief of pediatric cardiology of the Freiburg heart center and chief attendant of pediatric cardiology of the heart center of the University of Münster. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Betiel Soltani, MD
Dr. Betiel Soltani joined our medical team in October 2020.
She is a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine and is completing her fellowship  in paediatric cardiology with us.

So far, she has gained extensive professional experience at the German Heart Center Berlin, the Children's Rehabilitation Clinic of Berlin-Brandenburg, the Sana Hospitals  in Duisburg (fellowship of neonatology), and at the St.  Lukas Hospital of Neuss and the Euregio Clinics, Nordhorn for her fellowships in pediatrics and adolescent medicine.

Dimitra Giannikopoulou, MD
Specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine

Ms Dimitra Giannikopouloui has been a member of our medical team since April 2022.
She is a paediatric cardiologist and specialist in paediatric and adolescent medicine.

So far, she has gained extensive professional experience at the Heart Centre Duisburg, at the Clinic for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Evangelisches Krankenhaus Hamm, at the Clinic for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Marienhospital Bottrop, as well as at the Clinic for Paediatrics in Pyrgos Ileios, Greece.
